I've heard a lot about this anime, but never really bother to check it out. Finally did a week back and damn, it is pretty weird and hilarious.

I find it to be the male equivalent to Azumanga Daioh; with a fist full of zaniness and randomness, but wrapped together in a tortilla of manliness.

Awesome.

I just found it as an unique , almost-like an American cartoon-

Fuck it, it's an American cartoon with Japanese coating.

No, seriously, it's random, yet it fits well, it has exposition but it never comes in later terms.

It has crazy characters, but yet it fits the world they're living in.

This is an American cartoon in a Japanese World. Which is good. Makes this whole Anime =/= Cartoon business crumble.

Really? This statement alone makes me very very interested ... I don't think I've ever heard of this even though the name "Cromartie" seems to be everywhere. I'll have to check this out.
