VAC: The OST
This is a small project that has been in the talks over the past few weeks. Essentially this is similar to an "American Idol" type of deal. I would like to put together an album/playlist of songs recorded by members of the VAC.
These can be original pieces, acapella, or karaoke style pieces as well.
There isn't really any set list as to what can and can't be sung, we're certainly not going to mind any poopy language being used in the lyrics. Pick a song that you like and feel you potentially sing really well and show off your chops to the rest of the VAC community. If anyone needs karaoke music to pick from, I do have a fairly wide collection of tunes.
Send any recordings to my56k@hotmail.com (MP3 would be preferred, and keep the bit-rates high if possible as a higher quality audio recording will certainly receive better attention)
I am leaving a fairly decent deadline on this for hopes of getting more participation. The deadline will be November 30th, after which I will go through the songs and, being the self-proclaimed rock star that I am, pick the tracks that I feel really stand out.
I hope to see a lot of entries for this so don't be afraid to belt out a tune and send it along!

More bumpage! There has been more interest arising in this little project, although nobody has commented here on this thread, but there has been a few submissions received and things seem to be going along very nicely! Keep em coming people! Don't be scared to try out! This is all in good fun

Alright, the audio files are starting to come in more, if anyone needs a karaoke file for a song they have in mind, I have around 3000 songs to choose from! Don't be afraid to send a message along! A wise man once said "I believe that if a person can voice act, then they can sing as well!"

Another bit of a bump. Seeing a lot of interest from people, but not as many submissions as expected from those who mentioned interest in the project. Anyways, still keeping this going!

Had a lot of personal things going on lately and as such I'm adding another extension to the deadline as I haven't even recorded my own track for this yet >.< and frankly the submissions received for this have been less than amazing...not the quality, but the quantity..come on people, show your pipes! We want to hear you go big!

Alright, so I've extended the extension again, mainly because I haven't had a chance to do my own recording due to various complications and trying to organize my yearly music festival, so this is getting extended until the end of August. Cheers!
