The 3DS version came out today. I'm getting it, along with the 3DS, and see to see how different on it. (I know, 2 screens, with 3d effects, the top screen that is.)

I already picked up my 3DS and a copy of Super Street Fighter IV 3D. It's actually really close to the console versions... well, except for one minor detail. The backgrounds aren't animated, sadly... but the game is great, nonetheless.

I second that right there, man. All my life favorite female character is Chun-Li, ever since SF2 came around, I really like her kick moves, but really have big legs. Now with Juri, I can't compare to each one, because it's no beauty pageant.
3DS: I liked it when it looks like the SNES controller for the game play, the touch screen in the middle tells you which ones you want to press, and even make it so simple for the lite mode. Pro is... Well, I haven't got the chance to use that mode yet on the control schemes yet. the lite control mode makes it easier to perfrom such combo moves, super and ultra moves to easily pressed by the buttons you assign it.

Well, before Juri came along, I never used or really cared much for the female characters. The only characters I really cared about were Ken and Ryu... yeah, I'm not too original with the characters I use as my mains in fighting games.

Oh... I forgot to mention... there are two more downsides to the 3DS version of Super Street Fighter IV. You can't change the voice acting to the original Japanese (I never used that, anyway) and the anime style openings for each character have been turned into still frames... well, atleast the character endings are still animated.

Oh! I didn't realize that. I've never played the original Super Street Fighter IV. I've only played the 3DS version and the regular Street Fighter IV. Also, the Super Street Fighter IV rap was included in the commercial for the 3DS version of the game, as well.

I was gonna say that the animated opening and ending of each characters are different, but the score of 8.0 of 10 in ign, is great for the starting games of the 3ds, not like rayman and other games were weren't so good, except pilotwings and other games which I forgot what they were. this is why I chose this game more than the other games.

Same here. Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition was the only game that actually interested me that's out for the system, already. That's not to say the other games were absolutely terrible... I played Pilot Wings Resort... that one was pretty fun, but nothing I'd want to buy. So... that's pretty much the only reason I picked up Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition.
