 Humble Bundle [Double Fine]

This may sound like an advert, and sure, why not? Pay directly to the developers and charities, DRM free, Windows, Mac, and Linux. Throw out a buck or a thousand, up to you. Did I mention you can donate to charity?

-Costume Quest
-Psychonauts
-Stacking

Beat the Average!
-Brutal Legend
-Broken Age (Preorder for $35 and get "Slacker Backer" Status on this Kickstarter project)

=====================
Just to get this out of the way, no, I'm not a rep for the two, just a regular gamer who supports indie developers.

There's some great support for the indie folk here!

Granted I also didn't buy it....

After a few months, they've come out with the fourth bundle (albeit there were a lot more developer themed bundles), and this one is a quite a whopper, with some familiar ones to boot.

Most notable has to be Cave Story+, which is essentially the enhanced version seen on the Wii, and thank god for save slots. Although you'll need to contribute higher than the average to get this. Oh yeah, it has Steam achievements.

Next is Super Meat Boy, ultra tough platformer, with a rather meaty protagonist.

Then there's Jamestown, which I've just played a level of. It's a pretty fun vertical shooter.

Now this next one, I personally like: The Blackwell Series, which is on the Indie Royale bundle. a fully voiced point and click adventure, and it's an intriguing little mystery game (with a ghost sidekick).

Other than that, if you decide to contribute, enjoy the games.

Cave Story+ is worth the 6 bucks by itself. I have and beat the free original, and it is easily one of the better indie games ever made.

You might argue even more than the normally priced $9.99 on Steam. The good thing is that you can delegate 100% of your contribution to the developers. Although in the first bundle, you can actually delegate it further by choosing WHICH developer; kind of a shame, but they all deserve some of the money just for offering their game for whatever you pay (or for donating to charity. American Red Cross this time, that's new.).

Hey look, the big contributor is a Brony!

Okay, Humble Indie Bundle V is now out after...was it seriously almost half a year since the last post? *phoenix down'd* Not really the fifth one, since there were some smaller ones like the Android bundle. But I'm just covering the "numbered" bundles here. Yeah, this one's a doozy, ALL heavy hitters. Let's see..

Bastion. I've only play this a little bit, it's an entertaining game, and what I like most about it is the Narrator.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent. Dude. This is one of the most terrifying games I've play, honestly couldn't get through it. I got through Eternal Darkness and its Lovecraftian tricks, which I thought was the most terrifying game before then, with Silent Hill 3 being a close second, but not this.

Psychonauts. It's...Psychonauts. It's a great quirky game with interesting characters, it's funny. If anything, get the bundle just for this game!

Limbo. This is a strange one. You will die a lot, but that's a necessity in this game. It's also pretty unsettling.

I've never played Swords & Sworcery, so I'm going to play it some time later.

I have bought every (read: *EVERY*) humble bundle so far. Part of my quest to be the biggest loser on Steam. I have 110 full games (+dlc where applicable) on steam alone, I think.

HELP ME.

Apparently they've added some bonus games. Braid, Super Meat Boy, and Lone Survivor are added into the mix. It ends...in 5 Days, 16 Hours at the time of this writing. This is one HELL of a bundle, even for the average price you have to donate to get those locked titles.

This is probably the greatest bundle of things I've ever seen. So happy I picked it up, ended up to be one of the most worthwhile purchases in my gaming history. Now to start playing Braid, or to finish Psychonauts...

Oh Braid, that game has some of the most INSANE ways of hiding secrets, I would NOT put it in the same realm of thinking outside the box, it's more like OUTSIDE of outside the box.

THQ Bundle is out, beat the average just so you can get Saints Row: The Third. It's a crazy game and I love it. By the looks of it, it's just the base game, not the "Full Package" Edition which has all the DLC.

Pretty decent stuff here, interesting choice to go with THQ for games this time around, wonder what other developers they might go for next??
I'll unfortunately be passing on this bundle as I've already got the games mentioned above either on Steam or elsewhere :/

I own most of those games. I donated all the money to charity. 150 dollars. I love this idea, by the way. It's better than a tax break! =D

I just want to share this one bit of awesome. The THQ President as purchased a bundle, for $1,050, and donated it all to charity. If this was the president of EA or Activision, don't expect them to be half, no, a quarter as charitable.
