I still have my SNES. It's a bookend right now, but I'm sure it still works. If it plays well, according to the people who play it, then I'll consider buying it.
This particular game looks pretty cool, actually. Their other stuff, not so much.

I keep my $75 though, and while the idea of making a new game for the SNES (can't believe I said that in 2012) is going to be something, since no game for it has been released for a long time, it's just too much to pay for a game that I imagine is going to play and look old (nothing against old looking games, some are like a fine wine). If it's a game with a decent play time, and doesn't play like it's extremely outdated, then hey, I'm sure people will get their money's worth out of it, but not me.

On the other hand, Tales of Game's Presents Chef Boyardee's Barkley, Shut Up and Jam: Gaiden, Chapter 1 of the Hoopz Barkley SaGa was an SNES game made within the past few years, is free, and is not only one of the best SNES games, but is one of the better games ever created.

I'm not going to try and defend my investments. Such would be begging for verbal abuse.
Alls I knows is, I have more fun playing Chrono Trigger than FFX and I have more fun playing Super Mario World than Little Big Planet. I've bought Chrono Trigger for around $50 and God knows how much my parents paid for Super Mario World when it came out (bless their hearts, they didn't know what it'd do to me).

Holy shitballs. Never have I come across something so glorious.

Aside from the obviously cruddy music...
Hmm... yeah...
The gameplay's not that great, either. The pacing's a bit slow. If I were them, I'd have made the character and enemy sprites smaller and made the move faster. And when the character jumps; what is this, a Zack Snyder film? It's, like... a constant slow motion. It's frustratingly slow.
I'm sure they didn't want to have it frustratingly fast-paced, but... I'd actually prefer that over slow.

It doesn't look like it's worth the $75...the sound is horribly ill-time and the gameplay looks a little on the boring generic shooter side. Seems like a lot to pay even if it is a New SNES game. Definitely going to take a pass on this one.
