A Shantae VA

I've gotten no video responses so far ever since I posted this video, and I'd really appreciate it if I did. This is an audition video to see who is able to voice the character Shantae, from...well, "Shantae". If you've never heard of the character or the game overall (which is likely), Shantae is a game for the Game Boy Color that was made by WayForward Technologies back in 2002. You know, the dudes who made Mighty Flip Champs for the DSi? Anyway...

SHANTAE
Name: Shantae
Gender: Female
Age: The game doesn't give it...XP (I'll say she's around 12-16.)
Voice Type: Young and naive
Accent: American

All you have to do is post your video response to this video right here:

I've restricted this exclusively to girls (sorry, dudes). I'll end this on September 30th, 2009; after which I'll pick the Top 10 Shantae Voices that have impressed me the most. Good luck!

LINES:
- "What?! Not ANOTHER pirate attack! I'd better warn Scuttle Town!"
- "So YOU'RE behind this attack! Risky Boots, the lady-pirate!"
- "Ooooh...she's up to no good, that's for sure! Well, if I'm going to earn my keep as Scuttle Town's genie, I'd better stop her!"
- "Mimic! Hey, old man! Are you okay?"
- "'Steam engine'? What's a 'steam engine'?"
- "YOU stay put! I'LL handle this!"
- "That's far enough, Risky! Where's the steam engine?"
- "That's ridiculous! The ocean is free for everyone to enjoy! Just who do you think you are?!"
- "*sigh* Maybe it's time I told him I'm only a HALF-genie. Then Scuttle Town could get a REAL genie to protect them. How did I get things so screwed up?"
- "I'm sorry, Mimic, Risky got away with the steam engine. Now she's going to use it to destroy Scuttle Town! Ooooh...if only I were a REAL genie! THEN I'd show that Risky a thing or two!"
- Hmm...she seemed to be headed towards Water Town. Maybe there's still a chance to get the engine back!"

I admit I toyed with some of Shantae's lines here, but these are close to what her actual lines are like. You don't have to say all of them, but you can if you'd like. You can contact me about the audition at chsonicstar@gmail.com.

o_o; 'Thing is... Not TOO many VA's check out this section. To get the views you need to garner potential participants, I suggest either making an audition thread (making it clear that this is sorta like a competition-whatever-I-don't-know-what-to-call-this rather than casting for a project; deadlines can always be extended) or asking to move this to the Boredom Clips section.
