 [CG] Terminator: The Connor Chronicles

Terminator: The Connor Chronicles (http://www.terminatorcc.com/) is a fan-created CG-animated webseries that serves as a continuation to the Fox television show Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, which was cancelled after its second season ended in a doozy of a cliffhanger. Support for the show has remained strong after its demise, with fans hiring a moving billboard in Los Angeles last year in support of the show's resurrection, and strong support elsewhere, including the attempted organization of a completely fan-run convention dedicated to the show. TCC will consist of 13 half-hour episodes, completely CG animated, with full voiceover and music score. Dialogue for episode 1 has already been recorded and finalized, and most major roles have already been cast in previous announcements on this site. This call is intended to fill in some gaps in our cast, as well as to account for new characters appearing in later episodes.

All deadlines have been removed from the casting call, as I just can't seem to drum up much interest in this project from the voice acting community. Roles will be cast as I find suitable actors to fill them.

Content Advisory - this webseries will feature occasional mild cursing, as well as rough violence, frequent death, moral dilemmas, and some gore. Additionally, the series features an extremely dark tone that might upset children.

All auditions should be recorded in WAV format and emailed to [EMAIL="Mr_Domino0990@hotmail.com"]Mr_Domino0990@hotmail.com[/EMAIL]. Format isn't important, so long as it is clearly marked somewhere in the email or filename both your name, and the character you are auditioning for.

IMPORTANT - Being cast in this show will require attendance of Skype-based rehearsal sessions with the rest of the cast. We are trying to put together something that's a worthy successor to what has come before, and the best way to do that from an acting standpoint is to go through the scripts together, and really get a feel for the rhythm of scenes, and how to best play off of the other actors. If you cannot or will not attend these rehearsals (contact me about how our schedule works if you're interested) DO NOT BOTHER AUDITIONING. We've had a number of actors now who have stopped attending, or never attended in the first place, and that is not acceptable. Additionally, being cast will require giving me an emergency contact number - be it a cell phone, or some other form of communication - that you can always be reached at - EMAIL IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH. Its not fair to other cast members who I'm responsible for keeping up late/dragging out of bed (depending on time zones) to wait around because you forgot what day it was (or whatever it is that's keeping you from being available). I apologize if this comes off as harsh, but again, its in the interest of making the best product we can, and I can guarantee you, it will make you a better actor.

==============
CHARACTERS
==============

EPISODE IV

Father Armando Bonilla
Age: late 40s
Gender: M
Description: Father Bonilla is a man questioning his faith. Having seen proof of the coming machine apocalypse, he has likened it to the end times, and now gives begrudging assistance to Sarah Connor, seeing her as a kind of twisted saint. He is hispanic, with a decided Mexican accent. For reference on Bonilla's voice, watch season 2, episode 1 "Samson and Delilah" and season 2, episode 22 "Born to Run" of the original series.
AUDITION LINES:
"I come bearing gifts. Delivery man isn't my customary job, but I've gained some experience in the past couple of days."
"In other words, you fight evil by doing evil. I can't agree with that."

Newscaster
Age: 20s
Gender: F
Description: Minor role, 1 brief monologue only. Generic, stereotypical modern-day newscaster.
AUDITION LINES:
"In other news, an official bulletin today from the LAPD states that 2 women in the local area have been kidnapped."

Agent Auldridge
REOPENED
Age: Early 30s
Gender: M
Description: Auldridge professed once to believe in Sarah Connor's cause, but now, after her most recent disappearance, he's more determined than ever to find her. Auldridge is an FBI Agent, and a former friend of James Ellison. For reference on Auldridge's voice, check out the final episode of the original series, "Born to Run".
AUDITION LINES:
"So not even the head of security could prevent the death of the CEO of his own company?"
"Sarah Connor, Mr. Ellison. Sarah Connor blew up CyberDyne Systems and now ZeiraCorp."

EPISODE VI

Martin Bedell
Age: 30s
Gender: M
Description: Bedell is a former Presidio Alto graduate who now leads the resistance in 2027. Now in his 30s, Bedell has lived through a future where John Connor never came back like he said he would. He hates Connor for leaving him with the responsibility of leading the resistance in a losing fight. For references on Bedell's voice, check out season 2, episode 5 of the original series, "Goodbye to all That".
AUDITION LINES:
"You take a full company out and bring twenty men back? That's it? That was fighting the war your way?"
"You're lucky I don't break you to Private. As it happens, I still need veteran officers, even insubordinate idiots like you."

Tarver
Age: late 30s
Gender: M
Description: Tarver is a Major with the resistance who serves directly under Bedell, and is an old friend of Derek's. Blond, with a large build, and a gravelly, husky voice.
AUDITION LINES:
"That's one price for taking a company away from the General. What brought your ass back here?"
"Get the General. Now."

If you're set on actors attempting impersonations, it may help your audition process if you provide example links to youtube videos or a similar site that gives the actor something to go off of. Some may not familiar with the original performers' voices.

Great advice, however we're not looking for impersonations so much as ballpark. What's much more important is an understanding of the character whose shoes you're stepping into, and that can only be gained from watching the (short - 31 episodes) TV show on which we're based - which, for interested parties, is now available on netflix instantplay for easy viewing.

Yes, the deadline for Episode II parts has passed, and that role has been cast. All other parts listed on the casting call are still open, and keep a lookout for episode 5 parts appearing soon!

The deadline for Episode 3 has passed, and Dr. Middleton has been cast. Still a lot of shoes to fill between now and August 1st, so let's get some auditions coming, people!

We're nearing the deadline for episode 4.

This is a call to any African-American voice actors here - please take a stab at James Ellison or Tarissa Dyson! We're really short on these two.

Can any of this be seen yet? I understand that not everything is done but can anything be watched yet?

We won't begin any animation until our modelling process is at a much nearer stage of completion, so no. You can view a lot of our progress at our website (http://www.terminatorcc.com/)

Keep watching this space, as episode 5 roles will be up shortly. Also, still really need to hear some african-american actors. If you know of someone you think might fit either of those roles, please send them our way.

Thanks!
