Amazing, no?

...

Unfortunately due to the weapon restrictions (of the state even) I cannot bring along my balisong, not that it is in any way similar to the spy's.

Makes you wonder about weapon restrictions of different places. If I remember correctly (heard this one a long time ago), handguns are legal in france but nunchakus aren't.

Because to get a gun permit you need to be in the army, police or have a lot of money.

Well, that clears that up.

I was considering balsa, but I've already spent a decent amount of money as it is. I'll just have my revolver. I'm an assassin, not a butcher.

What did youuse to make the cigs look lit? LEDs?

Also, you are a very handsome man.

They're trick cigarettes. The tip is actually reflective, so with the right lighting conditions it looks lit.

Also, you totally look like Hugh Laurie in your bandit hat.

Been quite some time since I updated this; so much has happened, yet so little has changed. Among the new activities is my pursuit of a private pilot's license. I am up to 7 logged hours of flight training out of the 40 required, on track to start flying solo in a few hours. As I get further into the training, I'll start spending more time with cross-country flying: traveling long distances, necessitating navigation skills and pre-flight planning. I just finished planning a 4-6 hour round trip flight I'll be making tomorrow.

Cross-country flying: serious business.
