I have a feeling that Japanese voice actors are just as unrealistically eye-rollingly hammy during their cartoon acting as some of our American hammy cartoon actors.

I think my favourite random thing in Skyrim is Meeko.
Meeko is a dog on the side of the road on the way to Solitude. He'll bark for you to follow him back to his shack. Once you discover Meeko's Shack and go inside Meeko will sit next to a dead Nord on a bed and whine.
In the shack there's a journal that says "Well, after all my years living in these woods, it looks like the Rockjoint will finally be the end of me. I guess that's fine. All my friends are long dead. The only one left is poor Meeko. He was always a loyal companion, and I know he'll be able to take care of himself. I hope someday I'll see him again."
From there you can recruit Meeko as a companion, and if you dismiss him he'll return to the shack.

@Mek: Nice gif there pal. Also, I dunno man, I thought Mako Iwasaki, the voice actor for Iroh, was spot on. Or maybe I'm missing the point. Lastly, you really like overly loyal dog stories don't you? Always hits me, right here. *sniff*

Dear VAC,
I'm so antsy about my projects that i just listened to everyone demo reels. Gah! It made me remember why I came here in the first place. To sit back and listen to peoples voices. Listen to the changes in pitch, the remarkable way one person can sound like 20, the heart and soul people put into what they love be it hobby or trade. It warms my heart to know that after all these years I can still come back here and be reminded of my drive. Thanks for being here. All of you and everyone. This is a little sentimental for me but that's okay.

I...didn't say anything about Mako Iwasaki. I really, really loved his voice, and he is greatly missed.
I just mean the people that go "Subs are so much better, because the Japanese dialogue sounds so much more natural." My point of view is it sounds fine, but it sure doesn't sound "natural", we just can't tell how "off" it sounds, because we're not native speakers.
Those than complain about how "odd" the English Anime actors sound are right, it doesn't sound natural, but neither do the original Japanese ones compared to their general populace.

@Mek: Yeaaaaaah, I really missed the point there. Read the whole thing wrong. Stupid sleep deprivation. My bad. Now I feel silly commenting that. ^^;
Who knew a DLC could make a game rise like a phoenix and have me engrossed into the wee hours of the morning again. I got tired of losing while feeling cheated a long time ago on Civ V, but now, even civilizations like Greece, which I have wanted to try for so long, is so viable. Onward Hellenic League! Also, SPIES! The game ain't perfect, but it sure is seeing me through while my ME3 MP is down. Now if I can only get enough funds to get Dawnguard.
