The Huntsman Legion series is written by Caine Dorr.

What started as ripples in the multiverse was soon recognized as quite possibly the most potentially disastrous event any one world within the multiverse would ever have to endure. This crisis was not limited to one world however as it existed in Nexus space, between alternate realities of the multiverse, and threatened thousands of worlds all at once.

The Huntsman Legion was born. One hundred special agents, most genetically enhanced, were drafted into the Legion and each one sent through the Nexus Gate into a Multiverse crisis hot spot in order to quell the spreading disaster before it could get rolling.

Huntsman R7R, Tom Spenser, is one of the Huntsman Legion…

Audition Deadline - September 1, 2012.

This could be a long-standing series. Do not audition if you can’t commit to what could be years.

Preferred Sending format: 192 kpbs/44100. Wav or Mp3, Stereo or mono. Please save each person as their own audio file so I can sort. Multiple takes and lines per person can be in the same file. Please zip and send to audio@nother.us.

LABEL YOUR AUDITION EMAIL PLEASE! Subject: AUDITION – HUNTSMAN – CHARACTER NAME and please just make ONE email (list the character names in the subject line).
LABEL YOUR FILES with both your name and the character you are auditioning for.

I am very picky when it comes to microphone quality. If you have too much background noise or it is grainy, don’t bother sending anything.

22 year old east coast male
He’s young with a fresh voice who’s not quite sure that a life of crime is for him

What are you talking about? Of course I do Robbie, that Huntsman or whatsever aint nothing but a bunch a talk and parlor tricks. He couldn’t even take a couple of up and comers like the two of us out. That’s for sure! That’s luck! Better’n luck if you ask me.

Tom Spenser (Huntsman)
33 year old male with a general/American accent
He’s passionate and you can hear it in his voice, it just so happens that he’s passionate about enforcing the law and bringing justice to those who need it so he’s a bit world weary as well

Every crusade has to launch from somewhere doc, besides I don’t much like company, that’s why I signed on to do a stint with the Huntsmen Legion in the first place. Adventure. Exotic travel to faraway parallel earths. What’s not to like?

Vinnie – One of Battle’s henchmen
30 year old east coast American male
Vinnie is the strong silent type. He makes his words matter.

Take ‘em down the back stairs and keep ‘em quite will ya? Mr. Battle’s trying to enjoy his dinner.

Battle – Crimelord
55 year old American east coast male
He’s gruff. He tries to inject sophistication into his life but he was born a street rat and he clawed his way to the top

Your punk bum rat of partner isn’t a stand up guy Carmine he tried to sell me on a bill of goods. Some kind of story about a mystery man all in grey, a hood, and a mask who vanished in to thin air. With my still no less! The very still that was supposed to be protected while on the move in the back of your truck!

Put the word out Vinnie. I want everything anyone has on this mystery man. I don’t care how trivial it may seem. You I want shaking down our contacts on the local police force, they’ve got a file on this guy and I want it on my desk by tonight!

He’s the doctor, he knows it all and has complete control over everything – not quite pompous – somewhere in there he actually cares

Mr. Mason as soon as I know something for sure you’ll be the first one to be informed sir. Please, why don’t you have a seat with the family members of the other victims so that I can get back to taking care of your wife and everyone else?

Orderly
30 something male on a power trip

It’s no use slick, I’m the chief of this ward and the good doctor gave you his diagnosis all ready

WatchTower known as “Tower”
26 year old female
Strong, decisive, informed – a career woman who’s climbing the ladder fast. The trick here is that she is a computer, but can’t sound like she’s a computer. She shouldn’t be completely monotone. She’ll refer to her self in the third person.

Similar to “Rommie” in the Andromeda series. (Reference video)

Protocols indicated your immediate removal of the situation, based on your monitored levels. I took the liberty of putting you back into your Huntsman uniform agent Spenser.

Dr. Ballard
53 year old east coast female
Your nice elderly neighbor lady who’s retired and likes to garden, or did until the Huntsman came to town

With the increasing number of anomalies popping up all over the city they could have been registered on Tower’s system a number of times but as something unrecognizable to Tower’s data-banks.

Mick – Bartender
30 something female
She’s seen it all and nothing phases her. Nothing has since she turned 14

Look pal, you aint from around the neighborhood. I don’t know you and I aint pouring for anyone I don’t know. It’s time you get out of here.

Nurse
Mid 20s east coast female who is underpaid and over worked
