Bluntly speaking, an animator would have to be as stupid as this attempt at drama to use Druox's entry, because it was submitted after the deadline! To quote the double-post you referenced listing Druox's take on D-Mac's idea as an entry (even though it is not an official list made by TomFulp or anyone running the competition),

My guess is sometime around the last week of September. Animators have until the 19th to get their animations in, and after that point I'd assume it'll take at least a week to judge the 75 submissions of audio and/or whatever flash entries they get for those audio pieces.
If that wins and D-Mac doesn't get any cash or compensation for a portion of the writing/idea/whatever, I hate you.
=P I should have a warning label whenever I post sometimes if you guys thought I was stupid enough to stir drama with thoughtless words. /turning tables
75 submissions, a fraction of which featuring entries from VAC'ers + 1-2 NG VA's who are decent, but aren't on the VAC + entries by popular animators. I'm not sure if they're going to follow through with their time limit limitations or how, but this should give you guys an idea of how much fat is going to be cut and the odds of whose entry may come out on top.

Since everyone's ganging up on me, I get to defend myself:
I just put it there as a joke, to get moar views, AND with hopes it'll get animated. Anyone who read the rules (which I will assume none of you did, since are who are attempting to start the drama) would know that it doesn't count as an official entry. But no one will see it and potentially animate it if it isn't posted there since Animators aren't focusing on my work. (because I'm not Rina-Chan, D-Mac, Tomamoto, or another voice actor that people want to animate because of their popularity/status.)
However, people are looking in that forum for scripts to animate, I expanded D-Mac's idea and I'd want it animated, to get it animated, you gotta get an animator. Well, unlike you people, I don't know 1,000 animators that'll happily animate a quick thing for me. I only know one, and he's loaded with shit to do, two (one was completed) of which are animations I already requested, and I don't wanna ask for more because I'm not a bastaaahd.
So how would one get a skit animated in my predicament...HMMMMM..
OH! Put it where animators are looking for things to animate! Well, damn. Practical decisions are frowned upon by everyone now-a-days I guess.
Besides, if I were to win, I'd give DMAC a fucking cut because it's his idea. LOOK AT THE SUBMISSION YOU IGNORANT SCHMUCKS, I credit him in it!

I love this show.
I do find it amusing that they've posted the few entries that barely missed the dateline anyway, even though they're not qualified to be animated. I suppose a few animators will do them for fun, but still, that was dumb on NG's side. They're gonna be ignored for the most part.

Since Druox's first submission is still there on the list, I doubt NG would consider his expansion of D-Mac's skit to be legit anyway. I know Druox did it for the lulz, I'm pretty sure most of us know it too, and for him I hope NG also knows that, and doesn't outright disqualify him completely. I think our razzing of Druox is coming off a little harsh (dern intrabutz and itz lack of inflection).
I still 'lol'ed. I love this show.
EDIT: Oh yeah, and good luck to everyone! I hope we ALL get animated!

I submitted me Pirate Day Entry late September 3rd, buuuutt Pirate unfortunately, it hadn't come across my mind that this was the first actual submission I sent to newgrounds, thus, missed the deadline courtesy of my first submission needing to be approved. Yarrr...heads will ROLL far this, matey.... but meh, I did it, had fun doing it, could have cared less if I made the deadline or not, so figured I'll just post me submission for the yo ho ho's.
Hehe, now I know... thankfully this is a Pirate Contest, so I'll just nab the buried treasure worth 150 Gold Deblums from whichever one of you land lovers wins.... *sharpens Sword* Yarrr....

Yarr... fear not lass, while me intentions were tah get approved, ultimately just getting it uploaded so people could listen to it and either like/dislike be the only intent far me.
Unfortunately I submitted this just before I took off to Vegas for my buds' 34th birthday, so I didn't have a real chance to get this cleared up before then. But thus is the way the cookie crumbles, heh. Til then, best of luck to all you guys, I hope you lads and lasses had fun writing and recording these skits, and may the best man/woman win. So that way when I steal yar winnings I can say I stole from the best...yarrr.....
