CostaMexican's Boredom, Readings, and Voice Demo
« Thread Started on Sept 4, 2012, 10:35pm »

So occasionally, I would have nothing to do, and I would write something down, or just hit record and say whatever comes to mind.

Other times I like going online and reading certain stories that in general don't totally suck.
If I was interested enough, I would record myself reading these stories and try to capture what the writer intended.

What follows are what I have recorded with no need, and were out of shear boredom.

I would be interested however in getting to know how I did in emotion or how the voice sounds.

Anything would help. Did it sound familiar to another character? Was it unique? Did it fit the tone? Was it bland? Was the microphone quality alright?

Any question that can be answered would be highly appreciated.

This video is a reading on the creepypasta "Tulpa".

This second one was a recording of an improv I had after playing "Fallout New Vegas". It depicts a character I created trying to fit him into its environment as best I could.

This third video is a reading of a love letter I had written that I had written some time ago.

This fourth video is my first demo reel.

Again, any feedback is welcome.

Thank you for your time.

I liked your demo reel :) You have a great range!!
Maybe shorten it up a bit. A lot of reels dont go over 1:30, but still, good job :)

You have a very nice reading voice and I really enjoyed listening to you. I agree with Rachael. Try to make a demo less than 1:30 and you'll be set!!!
