Wow........no insult to Japan......but just wow.
EDIT:Um....this was shown in the USA as well! The scary baby....the very scary baby doll. Chucky's second son!

There's another one out now too with a rubix cube. It does it's thing, figures itself out and then explodes, splashing the walls with color. The PS3 then levitates (which its seems to be good at - I wonder if it's a standard feature  ), end of story, simple yet ... odd.

That would be their commercial titled "Cell". It's one of two promos that go into the more technical aspects of the PS3.

Wow. With tech like this so detailed, it's no wonder the system is so expensive! (Compare that with Nintendo and Microsoft, who don't care as much about this and go more for the fun factor, which in effect makes them easier to afford...)

HAH, Xbox has never gone with the 'fun factor'.
Eg ( From http://www.thebestpageintheuniverse.net/c.cgi?u=xbox_suckit ):

....For the entire month of July, only 2 games made it into the top 20 highest sellers (based on units sold), and only 1 in the top 10: Halo at #10 and NCAA Football 2003 at #11. For the month of June, only 3 games made it into the top 20, with only 2 in the top 10. Same for the month of May 2002, and only one in the top 10 in the month of April 2002. Even when the Xbox newly launched, their best month ever has only yielded 4 games in the top 20 with only 2 in the top 10, and don't even bother looking at Japan's stats where the Wonder Swan system is outselling most Xbox games (Source: NPD TRSTS Video Game Service). Compare this to Sony's healthy 15 titles and you can see the big picture.
