No one looks at the following forums:
writers corner, boredom clips and introduction
Since most of the populated threads are kinds that make it seem like your opinion matters with the least amount of thought (formula for a popular thread AKA the list thread)
General chat and discussion is heavily populated.
And since there is much to gain (for one's self), the audition area is rife with activity.
While in stark contrast the demo-reel area is rarely looked or commented upon besides critique out of no where as opposed to it's intended purpose.

Or maybe less threads but more replies to writer's corner.
Like the intro section. The area is mostly piling up with new threads no one ever looks at (you should read some of these intros, most of them don't say anything besides hello), if you can call that active.

The board's been slow for a while. I try to say one or two things every day, sometimes even saying hello to the new members.
There are veteraned VAs on the boards, and every once in a while, they do reply to demos, or threads asking for tips. For the most part, though, they're usually busy with life or work. After all, most of them have day-jobs.
The General and Boredom thread is ripe with activity because you only need a few minutes to post something. No contemplation is required in these posts, there is no care in their words. These posts are purely thoughts and feelings.
And a critique should be important to an artist, not a nuisance. Only someone that is arrogant ignores critique.
If you're disappointed, I'm sorry. Like I said, some of them have stuck around, but a lot of the veterans (more free in their younger years) are now old and busy. All that's left is the rest of us.

I'm not really paying much attention to this topic, but it seems to have some attention so I will type in an obligatory response to make it seem like this particular thread is more popular than others.

Ive noticed no one is ever really in the boredom clips as well. I posted something and it finally got one response, and that some people got one or none, so Ive been trying to comment on peoples more than I normally would. They would probably like a response as much as I would. I hope that maybe (Big MAYBE)people will reply more there . Im new to this particular site though, so it may all be in vain lol probably wont happen, but hey, who knows
