Uncharted Inspired GTA IV Machinima Serie
« Thread Started on Apr 5, 2012, 4:42pm »

Hi everyone. I've looked for voice actors for an another GTA IV machinima of mine on this site, and i found some really talented people, also heard form alot of talented people. But now im at it again and i've started writing on a pilot episode for an Uncharted Inspired GTA IV machinima serie.

The machinima is about Ethan Griffin, a man in he's mid-twenties. He's not new to having to get he's hands dirty every once in awhile, but will mostly stay away from killing people, unless absolutely necessary. The story opens up with Ethan discovering that he had been wrong about a tresure, that he thought was buried in a tomb by the king of England, and the tresure is in fact in the museum close to central park in New York. When Ethan discovers this he hurry's home to tell he's friend and mentor Edmund Parker about what he found out, although not knowing that Edmunds niece Amani Bennet is there on vacation. Amani then ends up coming along on they're trip to the museum, but it all doesent go as smooth as Ethan had planned. An unkown man has also figured out that the tresure is in the museum, and brings he's beutiful but deadly bodygaurd with him to retrieve it. When at the museum Ethan found out that he havent stumbled over the tresure, but a clue to where it is hidden, and the story spans from New York to Los Angles and even the Rub' al Khali desert, in an race agianst the clock, risking not only he's own life but everyone's around him.

As for the characters. Im voicing Ethan Griffin, therefor he's not American, which he also points out at one point.

Adlibbing is one of the things that makes the characters from Uncharted really shine, and is something im encouraging, even for a simple machinima, you, the actor, is the one giving life to the characters, so make them real, and add some of yourself to it, because in away, you are the character.

The characters for the first episode.

Edmund Parker:
Gender - Male
Age - 40-50 years old.
Bio - He's very similar to Sully in Uncharted he's Ethans friend and mentor, kinda a father figure, he's been through some rough times and know's he's way around a gun.
Voice Type: abit deeper, growly kinda voice, and also here's an interview with the voice of Sully, he doesent have too sound like that. So by all means if interested, then tryout, im not gonna judge anyone, based on their voice, but based on their acting, ofc sometimes you just hear that perfect voice.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rI8K9TUW9-A

Line 1: Oh Ethan hi!, this is my niece, Amani.
Line 2: (Amani ask's if they are theifs) Well... uhm...
Line 3: (Amani ask's who exacly Ethan is) Well... its kinda complicated...

Amani Bennet:
Gender - Female
Age - 20-25 years old.
Bio - Similar to Elena in Uncharted, she's a nice girl, and is new to all this tresure hunting and such. But she cares about both Ethan and Edmund, and their relationships just gets stronger and stronger along the way
Voice Type: Here's a video with the actor for Elena, this is a cutscene that doesent spoil anything from the games, couldent find any for sully though and as with Edmund you, have too by no means whatsoever sound like any of these people, acting matters more, but im just showing who their inspired from.

Line 1: (Sounding nice, but not over the top exited) Hi!... Ethan, right?
Line 2: (Sounding abit confused, but curious) So... are you guys like, tresure hunters?. Theifs?. Grave Robbers?.
Line 3: (Sounds, well not scared, but a little upset, mixed with curiosity) Alright, seriously! what is it that you guys are up to!?

James Duvakahli:
Gender - Male
Age - 20-30 years old.
Bio - The main villian of the story, he stops at nothing to retrieve what is "rightfully" he's.
Voice Type - Nothing special, can be any accent and voice typ, about mid/mid-low

Line 1: (looking around in the museum) Alright, the first clue should be here.
Line 2: So if my research is correct... the clue should be here.
Line 3: Ethan, Ethan, Ethan, you just have to accept the fact that you lost... (This line is made up, and can come to change)

Sasha Huntington:
Gender - Female
Age - 20-40 years old.
Bio - personal hitman, and bodygaurd for the main villian, kinda the evil version of santas little helper
Voice Type - Doesent matter

Line 1: Alright, all clear boss.
Line 2: Yes sir... All done...

Note: This is just characters for the pilot episode, which is the main people, so in the pilot they will all be introduced and such but ofcourse more characters will be in, so if your interested in any other characters, such as gaurds or something then you can send an improvised line to my mail.

Deadline is the 30th april, which gives everyone a month to get their auditions in (can be extended)

For all auditions send them to: acki@live.se
