READ ME: How to change your username

Hello everyone!
Lately I've been getting a lot of PMs asking how to change your name on the boards, so here's some more information.

When you first create an account, your username will appear as lowercase no matter how you sign up (it's a Proboards thing; there's nothing we can do to keep it from happening). However, it can be easily fixed to include capital letters, spaces, etc.

To do this:
1. Click on the "profile" icon in the bar at the top of the screen.
2. Find the field that says "Display Name". Change it to whatever you want your username to appear as on the boards.
3. Confirm.

The username that appears when people send you a PM will still stay the same as whatever you first signed up with, but all your posts on the board will appear under whatever display name you enter in your profile.

Seems a bit silly not knowing how to change your display name in the first place. :S

That's your opinion.

But I bet that once you first joined a Proboards you had no clue. Also it doesn't hurt to give advice. Even though a lot of people don't read it.

A lot of people are just confused as to why their usernames are automatically made lowercase and without spaces.
