lol, i dunno, i get what he's asking.
zen, no one is going to stop you from asking producers to produce a project for you (although the laws here are based on the interpretation of the mods, kinda like USA judges, HAH!). Although that is an uncommon request. Generally producers have a hard time actually finishing their own ideas that they're passionate about, let alone someone elses. Unless your paying ;P
Personally, I'd find the producer section to be the most appropriate.

Aye, the legal I spoke of was the law of the mods! But I'm starting up a machinima group and I want to start with at least two producers including myself. I already recruited a composer, a couple writers and a few editors. so what I'm really lacking is producers. Even though writers usually double as producers in machinima.

i'd love to help you produce though all project i've tried producing so far never got off the ground but i'm sure if i'm working with other people then i would handle things more efficiently.

Hey guys. I wanted to bring something else up that has been a problem lately.
Please, please let the moderators handle problems with users as they see fit. I understand wanting to jump in and defend your friends, but it really just complicates things and causes drama. A ban, suspension or warning should be appealed by THAT USER and THAT USER ONLY. Thank you.

Hmm...Weiss.
That's not OUR job.
It's THEIR job. They have to read the rules. They don't read the rules? Well. More chances of them getting banned and looking like morons.
This isn't kindergarten anymore. And I'm sure everyone can read. Or have the idea of reading the rules. Isn't that the first thing you do when you join a forum/club/anything?

Based on how many poorly-made audition threads there were when I first joined, I'd be inclined to disagree. I'm just going based off something similar I saw on another forum, where you had to read the rules before you could start posting.
Besides which, they'd still be reading it, it's just that they would have to read it, not just hear that the rules are there, and go "I'll maybe read them later." That's the only reasoning behind my suggestion.

There is.
But there's also the undeniable fact that I'm also right. No one's 8 years old and needs to be guided by the hand. You can read? Good. Can you comprehend english? Even better!
Do you understand that this is a forum and forums have RULES? No?
That's their issue. Not mine. If you know how to do that Weiss please tell us how. That actually might be useful. Just slapping the rules in their face. SHAZAM.

There're several codes out there to make it a requirement to read the rules before doing anything (I've brought them up HUNDREDS OF TIMES IN THE MOD SECTION), but Rina-chan already explained several times to me that they'd either get in the way of people who actually already know what they're doing (the majority) or the efforts put into the codes would still be ignored or overlooked (like right now, which defeats the point of the codes).
The saying "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink" comes to mind.
Anyways, Singing Dog already covered the reasons why people should be responsible for their own actions on the board, so I find little point in further explaining why spoon-feeding ain't going to work here.

I see it as the same way as... Well installing a game, do you read ALL of the terms and conditions? No, you just skip past it all so you can install the damn thing, the same is with the forum.

I did not read all 3 pages of comments, just the first, but a question that occured to me is simply why the rules of VAC are continiously being compared to NG rules for forums? I was under the impression that Newgrounds was more of a place for flash games, flash movies, etc; not voice acting. Was this forum created in response to something on NG?

The VAC was born in NG's forums.
It grew so big , it deserved to be made a forum. It was made a forum but then NG-fags started to invade it and think that this was another haven for NG-fags.
Thus the whole comparison. ( In my view. )
This forum was created in response to the fact we're a big ass group.
