ADDENDUM TO THE RULES:

If you notice someone spamming in a thread, report it or wait for one of the moderators to handle the situation as they see fit. Please do not continually harp on the fact that the person is spamming---it creates MORE spam to have six useless posts quoting the person and saying "keep it on topic dude!" One post addressing the situation is enough.

Hmmm, people read 'how to post auditions' more than they do the actual rules of the forum.

Interesting...

The above may be over four years old but I found that quite amusing.

Can someone tell me what Machina actually is, and how is it different from the regular material?

A Machinima is a parody of a game, within the game, like in the footage. I think you'd do better if you did a Google Search of the term.

Also, I think that question belongs somewhere else, at least in my view, the Rules Section shouldn't be bumped over these issues. =/

Hmm...Weiss.

That's not OUR job.

It's THEIR job. They have to read the rules. They don't read the rules? Well. More chances of them getting banned and looking like morons.

This isn't kindergarten anymore. And I'm sure everyone can read. Or have the idea of reading the rules. Isn't that the first thing you do when you join a forum/club/anything?

hah... hah...

oh you know what screw it, I'm gonna be honest, this is the 1st time I actually bothered to read the rules, so I guesse I'm kind of a moron, but geting to the point, I got a question, if you're doing auditions for an abriged seires, do you post it in the fandub section? I don't see an abriged series section. I'm just clarifying.

Yea, it would be at home in the fan dub section. At the end of the day, you're taking original and completed footage and applying dialog to it so it'll fit neatly in that section. :)

cool, um, I got another question, this is probably something I could just ask anyone, but I feel like asking it here, I've seen in some threads they have pictures under the charecters that need voice actors, but I gotta ask, how do they do that? it's probably something simple, that I'm just not thinking of, but then again I am a moron...

You do the following.

[ img]your image URL goes here[/ img]

In the [ img ] sockets leave no space. You need to host your own image using Tinypic.com. I wouldn't suggest Imageshack or any other image hosting site because well, they're usually buggy and don't work on the VAC.

Badly need a free advice and free help. I have just published a new free project at http://performance.6te.net where I must use two recordings. Without practice in recent years I spent few days trying to do something sound, but the result is absolutely shameful. All is terrible, my English, pronunciation and articulation.

I looked through your wonderful forum and failed to find where to start to get the help in producing sound recordings.

I'm really afraid of getting chewed out for posting in the wrong place.

Where should I post if I'm looking for people to help me write a script?

The producers section would probably be your best bet. :)

I'm keeping crucial parts of the rules on my iPod touch, I need to remember these rules so I can have fun on a regular basis without trouble.

Hello, I'm new here. lol c:

Just wondering, are all/most of the fandub groups here done in English? I'm interested in doing a fandub, but one preferably in Japanese.
Or is this not allowed?
Thanks very much. :)
