 A Question of Sound Quality
« Thread Started on Sept 5, 2012, 12:04pm »

Okay, have not been in the scene for the longest time, and I'm not sure my improvised rig can still handle good sound quality or if I remember correctly how to clean up recordings.

So I'd like to give this sample and ask you guys if it is at par with decent sound quality recording:

Nein!

So far, I've used Audition 3.0, standard noise removal, dynamics processing preset to compander, then 100% normalize.

Something tells me it's the normalize that I messed up with, but I'm not sure so I'm asking for your opinion guys. Help please. ^^;

That's what I do, except I don't use the % to normalize, I normalize to -3dB and that works perfectly for me. 100% might cause crackling.
