I use a Logitech G930. Gaming headset seems to work well when it comes to recording.

Fairly new to this sort of thing, done plenty of live stage stuff, but this is a little different, so grabbed a headset from poundland, for £1, I know, going all out on that one - and frankly I may as well have saying my lines to the toaster, it is rather hopeless espcially if I needed to shout or anything remotely approaching loud, sounded like I was being strangled in an reverberating room underwater, and there probably aren't that many applications for such a sound.
So might need something a little more practical, without spending all of the limited amount money available at the moment, and noticed that some people are using the mic that came with Rockband. Now i have one of those lying around somewhere. Throw on some DIY improv soundproofing to counter the fact someone decide a major road needed to be outside my house... would that record with enough acceptable quality.

I use a standard Wii USB Logitech microphone. With a little noise removal tweaking in Audacity, my voice practically sounds like it could fit seamlessly into a movie.

My name is Julia, I'm 15 years old. I have an alto voice (medium-low), but can make my voice high pitched for parts if need be. Right now I'm just using my turtle beach headset... Seriously lolol. Soon I'm hoping to upgrade to the Snowball though!

I have to just let everyone know that if you have Rock Band, the rock Band mic is actually pretty decent if you just plug it into a USB port and find some way to stand it up near your mouth. It's not the BEST but it'd be better than listening to your voice through your laptop's webcam or whatever.

The microphone that I use is a potato, but sometimes I like to use my toaster. Just kidding, I use the Blue Yeti.

The Yeti is far, far better than a potato!
Those are for taking pictures!

I'm using a local headset mic that's $3 in value. With proper editing though, I sometimes create pseudo-professional quality. My sister abroad's getting me a used Samson Q2U though (the only mic in her budget range).

I use a yeti. My computer doesn't like connecting to it, though, so the rest of the time I record at my friends house with a standing mic.
