The 'Meet The..." vids also got me curious about the game. Some very charming voice actin' folks showed me all the videos and I loved each and every one of them. Only about a month later did some pals of mine start playing the game; by the time they got bored of it, I was hooked. I discovered that an animator pal of mine played on the No Heroes servers, I started joining her on a regular basis, and the rest is history.
The hilarious part is that I still suck very very bad at the game. And yet, I love it. Figure that one out.

The hilarious part is that I still suck very very bad at the game. And yet, I love it. Figure that one out. That is a sentiment everyone seems to share. I certainly feel the same way. I played with some guy today who just started and he said the same thing. The company you play with could help with that, I guess. On a lot of servers, some people don't care if you suck, so you don't feel so shitty about it. |

I played with some guy today who just started and he said the same thing. The company you play with could help with that, I guess. On a lot of servers, some people don't care if you suck, so you don't feel so shitty about it. The problem is I've logged over 600 hours of playtime, still suck, and always play on servers with people who are better than me. ...Ayup. |

You should totally play as the Soldier. You don't even have to aim.
Seriously, I had a 35-17 using only the Soldier.
Then I left before I started to suck again.

Loldier is one of my favorites to play, I'll grant that. He's a lot harder than he looks, though.
Hoovy is so easy that I barely play as him because I like more of a challenge.

You run around with the gloves of running urgently, spin up the barrel, jump around corners and mow down anybody in front of you by pointing and clicking with your mouse.
By faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar the easiest class in the game, especially because medics always gravitate to Hoovys by default.
I used to really really really hate Hoovy, but he's kinda fun to play when you're drunk. :v

It's true. I just played him with a Medic yesterday, for the first time. Still got a buncha kills. AND the intel.

Well then, if it ain't broke don't fix it. XD
I'm just drowning in the wide array of weapons and items now. I have to keep track of what everything does so I can make adjustments (barring hats, never did see the appeal... well other than that misplaced obsession towards the elusive shining ushanka. ^^;). It's crazy, IT'S CRAZY!
