/facepalm
Damn it. Stuffs on ANOTHER sheet. >.< I'll remove that.
Also, cardboardwalk, me doing it by accident is one thing. You flatout calling people “punks” is VERY uncalled for, especially what its followed up with.

Or a cig. Ultimately, meanings change or gets tacked on one reason or another, South Park did an episode, "the F Word", on this word alone, albeit the message wasn't executed well (for a similar theme, "With Apologies to Jesse Jackson" is executed a lot better). Cracked.com did a top 5/7/10 list on the similar subject with surprising results (I thought).
Until then, back to business. (Go tackle a Street Fighter sprite.)

"A bundle of twigs" and "cig" were the actual original definitions before it became a "slang" term or whatever here in America. Much like many other words.
@ctk ...Street Fighter sprite? o.o Actually, I kinda wanna give it a shot...

Actually, I know the history to this. I learned it from "LOUIE".
"Faggot" actually DOES mean "bundle of twigs". We all know that those accused of being witches and wiccans were burned on stakes during the Middle Ages. The homosexuals, however, were thought to be much lesser, so stakes weren't wasted on those accused of being homosexuals. They were thrown in with the kindling. With rest of the "bundle of twigs". With the rest of the "flaming faggots".
And now you know.

Amazing.
Thread derailed to the point where even -I- feel the need to contribute something.
Shut up about the "faggot" talk.
And now you know. This is an art thread, so let the man show his art.

So these sprites were from a while back? Have you made any others since or was this just an experiment at the time? And if so what were the animations based off of?

Plenty of them in there are recent works. Most notably the HoD Alucard one.

That's cute. That's real cute. I used to make custom sprites back when I was obsessed with RPG Maker. Made some of my own attack animations, too. I may actually be able to give some relevant feedback. Firstly, I'd like to see the originals along with the edits. Preferably big enough to be able to see the pixels without squinting.

Well, the only originals I've made are, well... RPG Maker sprites. They're stupidly easy to make. Whereas these Castlevania sprites, I can never get proportions right with them, as evident by my Trevor's walking animation.
