Deadman Wonderland Abridged Auditions OPEN (1M/1F)

Hey there, we are DMWAbridged and we need some new V.A.’s for two major character roles so we can continue the series. There is one male major character role and one female major character that is open.

We do have a couple of rules for you before you audition. They are:

1. Please be committed to the project. (We cannot stress this enough)
2. Have high mic quality. (This means no puffs, no peaking, and no background noise)
3. Please record in stereo and in 44100 Hz.
4. Please send your lines in .mp3 format. (This will be the only format we will be taking)
5. Save your lines as such charactername_line #_username (Ex: Shiro_line1_DMWAbridged)
6. If you are auditioning for more than one character please make one big .zip folder for all the characters and label it Deadman Wonderland Abridged. (This is optional but it really helps us stay organized)

NOTE: This series will require the use of foul language and will involve adult themes. So please take this into consideration when auditioning.

Bio: Is one of the fellow prisoners that can be found in Deadman Wonderland. He is actually one of the few prisoners who has a personality. (Ah man, did I just say that out loud)

Age: late teens- early 20s
Voice type: Sarcastic
Voice range: medium to medium-low

Lines:
1. (disillusioned) Its Yo, seriously… it hasn’t even been a day since I last said that.
2. Yo: (Screams of pain) Oh my god! My arm! Why the fuck does this happen to me?! Why the hell are you people just watching?! Help me god damn it!
3. (badass) This is Takami Yo….Ganta Igurashi is entering the foot race.


FEMALE ROLE
Minatsuki
Bio: She is one of the prisoners known as “The Deadmen”. Her alias is The Hummingbird when she is competing in the Corpse Carnival that is located in the prison. She tries to maintain a innocent personality when around most people, but this is just a façade to her true sadistic personality. She is the little sister of Yo.
Age; 17
Voice type: cutesy (think Mikuru from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya) and insane and sadistic when her true personality is revealed
Voice range: Medium to Medium-High ( when cutesy) Medium to Medium-Low (sadistic)

1. (happy go lucky) Hi my name is Minatsuki Takami, I'm seventeen years old. I've been incarserated in Deadman Wonderland for a few months now.
2. (pouting) Everyone is a meanie.
3.(happy again) But now my big brother is here to come save me so we can be a family again! yay!
